I designed the iconic Vettaiyapuram Palace for Chandramukhi, drawing from Apthamitra and Manichitrathazhu to create a grand, vibrant aesthetic. I crafted Chandramukhi’s private quarters with a distinctive Kerala-style corridor to give it a unique identity. We also recreated Ooty’s streets on the Campa Cola grounds in Chennai, where my collaboration with cinematographer Jeeva ensured an authentic, immersive atmosphere. – Thota Tharrani
