Thota Tharrani is an eminent Artist and award-winning Art Director renowned as the ‘Legend in the world of Art Direction’.  An artist since the tender age of five years, Thota Tharrani is a creative genius who has created some astounding works over six decades. He stepped into the world of cinema first as an ardent observer in the year 1962. This 2022 marks 60 Years of his entry into the world Cinema, and he has now completed 200 films (and still counting) as Art Director! As an Artist his vast and versatile works include pencil drawings, paintings collages, sculptures, and other unique works in varied mediums. He is a decorated individual with two national awards including the coveted Padma Shri, and twelve state awards for exemplary work during his long and illustrious career as an Artist and Art Director and Production Designer.
